Chlorine is added to the water coming from the well. The water then goes to a 12 feet in diameter detention tank. From the detention tank, chlorine is added and the flow is split to two dual media (sand and anthracite) filters. After the filters, chlorine is injected. Chlorine is also injected where the two lines from the filters come together. After the last injection point for chlorine, the water is sent to the 90,000 gallon standpipe, and from there to the distribution system.
